Since the regular Palms buffet is closed for renovation, a new smaller "2nd
story buffet" will open (starting Feb. 5-April 1) above Gardunos. Price is
$6.99 for lunch, includes prime rib; $8.99 for dinner (includes prime rib and
peel and eat shrimp). On top of that, All-star, MVP, or Hall of Famers take
off $1 for lunch, $2 for dinner. Hrs are lunch 11-4; dinner 4-9.
Also you can currently get the All-star, MVP, or Hall of Famer discounts
you used to get at the buffet on special limited menus at the Seven/24 Cafe and
Gardunos. We ate at Seven and after removal of taxes and the 75% Famer
discount, our dinner of over $20 became $6 (we paid in comps). Menu is limited,
and some items you might want on it, such as small dinner salad, are not on
the menu. They may either charge you the full amount for missing item, or
just put it into your bill if most of the stuff you order is from the special
"Players menu."
