I verified today that only those who receive a
mailer from the Palms telling them that they will
get multi-points on certain days will actually do
so. I played at the Palms beside an out-of-towner
who did not get any notification that he would
receive 2x points today. And sure enough, he was
only earning 1x points while I was getting 2x
points on the machine next to his. I shouldn't
have been so skeptical.
