Palms Bonus Points this Month

For everyone - 3X points on Tuesdays and Thursdays - and the different and neat thing is that there is NO CAP on the amount of bonus points you can earn . (It usually is a max of 40,000 points) On the mailer it does say, "Not available on 100% or better payback VP machines" but it did not mention any exemption for machines that contain NSUD's.

(Higher level mailers also say 3x points on August 6 and 20th - those are Sundays - but you must check to be sure your mailer states that.)

In a situation like this, do they put some kind of stickers on the
ineligible machines? Do they expect all casual players who are not
into esoteric discussions on vpFREE to be aware of these machine
differences?

Just a couple of months ago, I had no idea of these. I was just
generally aware of claims and counter claims by the individual
casinos that their payback is 98, 99, 99+, ... percent. I had no
notion that there exist a serious class of players who eke out their
livelihood (and what a classy one it is!) out of quarter point
percent advantages on specific machines.

Seriously, I considered Deuces Wild (I ask unanimous consent that I
escape any blame for the following characterization) as a "sissy"
game. And wasn't aware of the different flavours of it!

BTW, tomorrow is 3X in Harrahs. I haven't read the fine print. Online
they don'r say anything about ineligible machines.

Maybe should be for Locals... do any other out of state people get
Palms mailers??? I dont..

Yes, there is signage up about it in the casino - so 3x points on Tuesdays and Thursdays all of August is for everyone who plays with their card in (except on 100% and up games). And I am assuming there is no cap on bonus points for anyone, whether you get a mailer or not.

The only people who get the 3x points on August 6th and 20th are those who get mailers (locals) and only those who get the higher level mailers, where it is marked on their mailer calendar.

I believe all machines that have 100%+ paytables have a small sticker on them that says the machine is not eligible for special promotions or bonus points. I forget the exact wording. Since the 3x Tuesdays and Thursdays promo doesn't exclude machines that contain NSUD's, I wonder if those machines still have a label on them?
