Palms bingo cards

All I can add is practical experience, played today for 4 hrs on 5 play, playing some 9/6 JB, ugly deuces, and 9/6 ddb. Got all the bingos except 1 set of aces and one of deuces, got a royal, but none of the 4 needed straight flushes in any suit.

Last month did the bingo card once and played for about 4 days, 4-6 hrs a day, on 5 play, and it took that long to get the 1 heart straight flush...got 2 royals during that time.....it seemed easier to get a royal than a straight flush.

Be prepared for grueling play looking for these straight flushes.....

I used to mess with quad bingo cards years ago. All I know is simple country boy math. I don't know anything about puson or poison distributing his stuff around or whatever it's called. I never had to make straight flushes. Sounds brutal. This is the way this simple sucker would have to do it. Let me know if I'm wrong in case I ever run into it again.

9/6 Jacks....straight flush chances 9148.37....no strategy shifts. I don't think I would want to make any strategy shifts for a hand I'm gonna hit anyway if I play long enough.

It's pretty obvious that the cycle for the first SF is 9148.37.

Now I'm gonna multiply 9148.37 by 4 (this represents the four suits) which = 36,593.48. Then I'm gonna divide that number by 3 which = 12,198 I'm gonna use 12,198 for the second cycle.

Then I'm gonna gonna divide 36,593.48 by 2 which = 18,296.74 and use that for the third cycle.

Then I'm gonna use 36,593.48 for the fourth cycle.

..........9,148.37
.........12,197.83
.........18,296.74
.........36,593.48

  TOTAL..76,236.42

All I can say from "experience" is hitting the 4 straight flushes is EASIER than hitting that ROYAL! Been two months since I hit a Royal. I even tried the bingo card on the 1c jacks 50 play for 3 hours. I still needed ONE straight flush and the Royal! I got bored and moved to the 10 play jacks. Lost of course, as usual.

Last month on all my cards, I needed the Royal to complete the card.
Card is worth about 1/2 if you don't hit that Royal, no not entirely worthless.

Thanks to all that replied to my question. I found Mickey and fivespot's explanations to be especially helpful. I'm pretty good at plugging bonus payouts into Winpoker, but when it gets beyond that, I'm usually overwhelmed. I was glad to see that my gut feeling was pretty close to the correct answer.

Taking the 85,000 hand average to complete a Bingo card from fivespot, the $500 bonus on 25c denomination games adds about 0.47%, which is better than I have heard many people estimate. Dollar games don't fair so well since the bonus is only $1000 for 4X the coin-in. Personally, I would add strategy adjustments when I got down to the last one or two spots to shorten the cycle slightly. For example, if I was only missing the 25c RF and that spot would give me an extra $250 for completing the card, I would play an adjusted strategy with a RF value of $1,250.

true, but don't make the mistake of thinking that you get similar
value on multiline. the cycle on 10play is about 10000 rounds (0.4%),
the cycle on 100play is about 1500 rounds (0.27%). on 100play you
really get hurt by the fact that many of your SFs come clumped
together, like when you have a SF4 and hit 3 or 4.

and at $2, it's $1000 for 8x the coinin...

i've done that, but unfortunately there aren't as many opportunities
to do it profitably on the new cards. you'll usually be stuck on a SF,
and there just aren't many profitable strategy deviations for a juiced
SF as for a juiced RF.

cheers,

five
