Today I tried to use one of the 7-11 gift cards I earned during the
Palms "Presents for Points" promotion. Pretty embarassing standing in
a long line at an out-of-state 7-11 with an arm full of sipped-on soda
and half-eaten snacks, trying to pay with a Gift Card that won't
work! I called the 800 number on the back of the card & I was told it
hadn't been activated. I called the Palms & was told to bring it
back. I'm not sure what they are going to do to correct it &
apparently I'm not the only one this has happened to. REALLY glad I
didn't give this one away as a gift!
Palms 7-Eleven Gift Card
You've got me worried. I gave away a bunch of them to family and friends.

Talked to Club Palms this morning. The problem was with the $5 cards.
The $10 and $25 cards seem to be OK so far.
Club Palms is all out of the 7-11 cards, they are refunding points
back to your account when they receive the non-working cards.
This was a popular promotion.
