Palazzo / Venetian

I too am interested in the answer to this question. We have a CASH offer
that we would like to use over Labor Day and see no disclaimers in the fine
print, but........are still nervous about stiffing V/P after reading some past
posts.

We previously had booked a great offer around Father's Day but were forced
to cancel due to a very real family medical crisis. They actually charged our
credit card for one night but when I called to protest and say that we were
within the 72 hour cancellation policy, they quickly said that the charge
would be removed---and it was. Still, that kind of trigger happy casino gives
one pause. Does any other company have such a restrictive and customer
unfriendly cancellation policy? This time they promise/threaten to charge $350 to
our card if we cancel within 72 hours.

I'd like to stay at V/P one time just to see what all the hoopla is all
about and $600 FreePlay is a great incentive, but do not need a hassle or
unpleasant experience. If we could just play $JOB, all would be well. But, if
there is nothing to play at $ or below, then we will be running the FP through
and going elsewhere--that is, if we decide it is worth it to go.

Both Wynn and V/P have assured me that if you accept an unsolicited free
stay offer there is no play requirement if none is stated. But if you
don't play another invite will be less likely.

I don't know the legalities, but I have always thought (unless stated
otherwise) that there were no play requirements for unsolicited offers.
They are based on previous play, so you have already "payed" for it.
Stiffing them may result in no future offers, but they cannot charge
you for your room during this stay.
