Does anybody know about the pay schedule of the $1 5-play 9/6 Mulitstrikes at the Palazzo. I understand that they are 2 coin and the
royal pays 1600 coins, so it costs $40 a shot at max coins. Is this a correct assumption ?

First of all, I've never been in the Palazzo when that machine was
available, so good luck trying to get on it.
It is similar to the short-pay MS on the Venetian side. At $1 level
your 2 coin max means 5 hands x $1 x 2 coins x 4 levels = $40.
However, you think you are playing at $1 level but are in effect
receiving the equivalent payout of a 40 cent full-pay machine. So, if
you hit a royal, your payout would be $1600 (as you say), not $4000.
Most players I have observed play at $5 level and would get $8000 for
a royal. While watching briefly I didn't see a lot of taxable
jachpots as you would normally expect at the $5 denom since playing 2
coins max makes it "only" like playing a $2 full-pay.
