I saw two new MS variations as menu choices at Palazzo over the weekend.
The first adds a 16X level. The bet is increased from 20 per hand to 25.
The other is a Double Down Stud game. On the Jacks or Better choice the payouts started for a pair of sixes or better.
Paytables on these new games as well as virtually anything else at Palazzo (including 2nd Chance Royal mentioned last week) are all short-pay.
Walking into Venetian doesn't yield better options: the very best game I saw there was $1 3 Play Super Times Pay 9/5 Jacks on one machine at the very back of High Limit. 8/5 Jacks is prevalent at higher denomination machines there. No surprise that the total of idle Venetian staff members in High Limit far outnumbered just two players on what should have been a busy Saturday night.
