Pala was filled with military Saturday night. Men from nearby Camp Pendleton were dressed in uniform for an event. But many also crowded around bar televisions to watch the Pacquiao fight.
The $1 progressives were at around $4600. So with games like NSUD and 9/6 Bonus Deluxe as options this can easily be an over 100% play at times. That made me curious as to why I saw a woman instead playing $1 3 Play Dreamcard for 15 coins (she chose not to place the additional bet to activate the DC which improves return). All DC game options are shorted at less than $2. So for that same $15 she could have had three times the chance at a progressive royal with far better base games.
I did see a man at the $2 9/5 DDB Progressives hit 4 Aces w/K for a "modestly over reset" $4100. He had only been dealt a pair of aces.
I also wanted to note that Pala's $25 single-line machine in High Limit that offers 8/5 SDDB also has 9/5 White Hot Aces.

Rincon's "new" area with the lower denomination full-pay games has its own entrance from outside. Simply park to the right as you drive in and go in the north door which says "Sports Pit". You'll find all the machines along the wall. Don't be distracted by the nearby LOUD Multi-Strikes and Spin Pokers which have the usual Harrahs dreadful short paytables (as bad as 6/5 Jacks).
