Overseas visitors and casino mail

Thanks A.P. and larsonsm for your replies to my question. I'll definitely try my luck with
hosts and I'll also look into getting a U.S. address.

I'm also thoroughly enjoying David Kitzinger's posts and everyone's help and advice for
newbies.

I have another question about comps and casino restaurants. I have read several times
that first time visitors should charge everything to their room and then ask a host to rate
their play when they check out to see how much can be comped.

So does this mean that no matter at which restaurant (from Pizza Hut to gourmet
restaurants) you eat in a specific casino, you can always charge the costs to your room?
Aren't some restaurants operating independently from the casino and just renting the
space there?

You are correct on all counts. Charge to your room, whatever you can, franchisers and independents will not normally allow you to.

Regards
A.P.
