I guess it still works but no real posts in over two weeks.

I want to say thanks to "futrend" for hooking me up with a pass for the Super
Bowl party in CB's Buffet. We first met up at the Diamond Lounge earlier
that morning.

EW Kokopellis- they finally got to it right after the SuperBowl. Ripping out
the wall for who knows what. EW website says it will reopen "latter in the
year".

GNL- please take a moment to reflect walking past where the Cheetahs bar used
to be. Now 22 IGT penny/nickel slots occupy the space.

I did get a normal mailer yesterday for March/April. Down to one free night.
Time to give them some play after blowing them off for three months.

Riverside- has fallen into a COD habit for a promo. Feb is 2s, March is 3s.
Wish they had any quarter play in non-smoking...all gone.

Flamingo- when will Carl get the keys?

Pioneer- doing CODs and 3X points several times in March. Still a fine way
to score a room for $1k/month. Just wish my play on bartop Jacks was better
than 90%.

Harrahs- moved the poker room. Saw some of the playable games have been
moved around. One of the slant-top Jacks plays made it to non-smoking. Need to
redo the inventory. They did stick the two 50-plays in the corner by the
windows. Should be a good view of the adult pool.

The coffee shop is boarded up until River Run. Baja Blue is doing a $9.99
"price fix" 5a-1p to cover. A dinky fruit/salad/pastry bar is included as well
as a drink. The omelets and burgers look to be monsters. Market Square
buffet is also doing a $8.99 graveyard special to 4am.

The Ramada Express funbook is still available at LVCVA office. That "Crazy
Eight" coupon for a roll of like coin is still in there.

River Run Music (so far)-

April 28,29 REO Speedwagon at Flamingo

April 29 Hotel California at Harrahs ( a tribute band who has done LVH)

Anyone going soon?

BS

I am glad someone finally fixed it, and started to post. Nice run
down on what is going on around town, but what about the River Palms?
You made no mention of this place. I guess it is just business as
usual?

Additional information on the entertainment at the River Run:
Flamingo: Foreigner- Thursday
          REO Speedwagon- Friday and Saturday

Riverside: Rick Derringer and Edgar Winter- Friday and Saturday

Harrahs: Marshall Tucker Band- Thursday
         Cheap Trick- Friday

It really doesn't matter to me who is playing, as I am not going to
the River Run. Period.
