We will be visiting a first grandchild in Ottawa in mid July and
wondered about nearby casinos. Is there any reasonable VP at either
Casino De Hull or Rideau Carleton Raceway? Is The Casino De Lac Leamy
just another name for Casino De Hull? Any information appreciated.

Casino De Hull or Rideau Carleton Raceway?
I visited Casino de Hull 4 years ago. At that time the VP was pretty
miserable. I believe the best payback was around 97%, but didn't log
the details.
Rideau Carleton will in all likelihood offer the same machines as the
other Ontario racetracks;
- Game Kings - all which are bad.
- hopefully some Gamemakers with Pickem poker;

- if fullpay (RF = 6000 etc), it's 99.95% + 0.42% cashback.
- if shortpay (RF = 10000), don't bother.
The racetrack slots vary the Pickem. Here's the list I've developed
so far.
Woodbine - FP 25/50/1.00/2.00/5.00
Hiawatha (Sarnia) - FP 25/1.00
Georgian Downs (Barrie) - FP 1.00
Flamboro - FP .25
Ft. Erie, Mohawk, Peterboro - all short pay.
Clinton - none - nothing but slot machines.
If you get to Rideau Carleton, please advise what you find.

Same place - the name was changed about 3 years ago I think. I was there
once, in 2000, but didn't concentrate on VP at the time. I did really well
on the slots though
