OT: Re: TR Brief - I promise

Thanks. Most the people who were actually gambling were my age or over,

but I guess they prefer to cater to the ones going to the clubs. I love
Beatles, Stones, even Alice Cooper, but I can't take this 21st century
"music". <<

I'm in the same demographic as you and find the music at the Palms a great
improvement over the "all oldies..all "Hairbands"...all the time" you hear
at other places.

You realize, of course, that back in Alice Cooper's hayday, if somebody
would have come along and waxed nostalgic about a popular band 35 years in
the past, they would have been talking about somebody like Guy Lombardo or
Paul Whiteman...and you all know what we would have thought about that.

Actually, I don't have any real complaints about the recorded music at any
of the places I play...what I DO have complaints about are the places where
the recorded music is competing with the music from the live band or
anyplace where you have to listen to the Karaoke.
