OT - Poker Room Suggestion?

My husband and I are looking for a small, non-intimidating poker room
in Las Vegas where first-time players won't feel too out-of-place. Any
suggesions appreciated!

Pat;
If you are still looking for a nice place to learn poker in some very
nice surroundings. The Gold Coast located between the Rio and the Palms
on Flamingo Road is worth your consideration. They have the a staff of
dealers and supervisors that are most friendly and go out of their way
to make you feel that you are in a home game with a bunch of your
neighbors. Tell Bob the Martins from St. Louis sent you, he will
remember us, I have to play at the $2-$4 dollar table while I wait for
my sweet wife while she is playing at the final table. They have a nice
morning tourney that starts out as a limit game and progresses to a no
limit game that starts every morning at 10 AM. When we were there in
February they usually had about 5 tables starting out. The price is
right, 20 bucks contributed to the prize pool and 2 dollars for the
dealers. The Bob's don't take a rake like the other casinos in this
tourney.
