Ot: Nice LV Resturant Suprise

So far this trip, we have dined at N9ne and Little Buddha at the Palms
and Fiore at the Rio. N9ne and Little Buddha were both up to prior
standards with hip but professional service and we were well
satisfied. Fiore proved to be a disappointment, with the service
being friendly, but barely amateur (bread plates prematurely cared
off, soufflé orders forgotten, change in menu not mentioned, etc.

The positive surprise was tonight where we dined at the Carmel Room at
the Ramparts Casino. The food, service and atmosphere were all
extraordinary and the food and wine prices were not exorbitant. This
dining experience ranked with the best we have had in Vegas including
Lutece and Bradley Odgen on prior visits.

Thanks for the tip ... we will try it. We visit the Rampart all the
time, but usually for the buffet. I notice the Carmel Room also
offers "high tea" in the afternoon. We may try that too!

We happened into the SunCoast last Friday and it was swarming with
teenagers running all over the place! Thank God the Rampart is
nearby ... I can't recall EVER seeing teenagers wandering through the
Rampart. Normally teens don't bother me, but inside a casino, they do.
