Hi all
Going to Vegas late Nov. The first 3 days of our trip would start at
LVH. If I had it my way; it would be LVH for 8 days. So along comes a
room offer from Orleans. My better half (boss) overrides LVH and
wants to go Orleans. She likes rooms better at Orleans. She says the
rooms at Hilton are like "hospital rooms". I guess, no pictures and
the rooms are dreary. Also she likes the Orleans property better
overall. I will cancel LVH this time. I guess I like Orleans too and
that's my story and I'm sticking to it. The vp ain't so bad either.
Last two times I stayed at LVH they kept pushing a 2 room suite on
me. The suite had a couch and chairs in bedroom, tv clear across room
from bed. It had a whirlepool in small bathtub; not much use to me.
The second room was a bigger room with a bar. It had a pull down bed
and had no use to me at all. Since there is a door for each room, the
second room was of no use to the two of us who stayed there and we
gave the extra room up both times. Mostly, in other properties if I
am lucky enough to get a suite, the suite comes with a nice extras;
whirlepool, big bathroom, more expensive looking soap and shampoo,
bigger tv and a refrigerator. I was wondering if they had any better
suites in hotel for the "not the best" players. I guess they have
some really nice suites at the top of the towers. There are some neat
suites at pool level, just right for two. But, no whirlepool.
