Can anyone give me any idea what it takes to generate room offers
from the Orleans? On the data base one entry says, I think,
something like $6K-$7K for first timers. Yet, the next entry says $10K
got a coffee shop comp.
I don't think either of these entries relate to your question.
The $6K-$7K for first timers wasn't for generating offers
but for earning a room comp. The $10K probably was for
a local (they didn't give discretionary comps at all for awhile
to locals) and it didn't specify if less action would have
sufficed or what their playing history was.
IIRC I've heard that visitors can generate some free room
offers with $7K-$9K daily coin-in.
What about the Gold Coast? How does it compare with the Orleans? It
seems to have better VP offerings. The wife loves to play JOB, which
they have but the Orleans lacked.
GC doesn't have any positive games, but comps are
probably a little easier than at Orleans.
