Can anyone give me any idea what it takes to generate room offers
from the Orleans? On the data base one entry says, I think,
something like $6K-$7K for first timers. Yet, the next entry says
$10K got a coffee shop comp.
We used to love the Orleans BVP (or before our VP conversion).
Actually we discovered VP at the Orleans. We have a club card, but
have never generated enough points, or coin in, to get any offers. I
think last time I called they offered casino rate plus 4 free
buffets. But we had free room offers from other casinos so we just
kind of stopped going there.
What about the Gold Coast? How does it compare with the Orleans? It
seems to have better VP offerings. The wife loves to play JOB, which
they have but the Orleans lacked.
Thanks to everyone on this board. I am a very infrequent poster, but
long time lurker. You all have educated us so much and made our
trips much more profitable.
