I think I may have one of the "mother of dealt royals" stories. I was playing
in an Indian Casino with very bad video poker. For the hell of it I played this
interestiung machine at the $.10 level. It was a 5 line machine. Each line
receives a hand seperately before the draw and receives a payout - 60k for royal
i forget how much for other hands but something like 75 credits for a flush,
etc. Then the bottom line gets to draw again for all 5 lines. I was dealt a
royal on the bottom line so won $6,000 before the draw and $2,000 after the
draw. The only way I could have won more is to have been multiple royals before
the draw. How exciting to win $8k on a dime machine!
I was also dealt a royal once at the airport in Vegas. I was bored waiting on a
delayed flight, so played a very ugly payout souble bonus machine at the $.25
level knowing I was blowing my money and I got lucky and was dealt a royal.
I seem to have very bad luck with royals on fp machines. I have yet to hit a fp
royal, but I keep trying when I can.

Again, I advise people to write to the Orleans about the elimination of FP dueces.
Does anyone have a strategy for the new triple dueces they are offering?
I have gotten 2 dealt royals, once last year, once this year in Vegas. They are very surprising. I'm waiting to get one on the bottom line of a triple play machine! Also for a redealt one which must be a real hoot.
The more you play, the more royals you will get and eventually the dealt ones will show up.
