Oregon VP - Changes at Spirit Mountain

I noticed some inventory changes at Spirit Mountain on a visit this weekend:
- The machines in the non-smoking room have been moved, but they're still in the room. In fact, they added one more on the right end, but it's a keno machine too, which is annoying (you know the noise). These machines (except for the keno one) all have 9-6 DDB from $.25 to $2.
- The long bank of $.10 progressives right behind the Rock Creek Grill have been changed to $.25 FP 9-6 JOB progressive. When I left early Saturday, the royal was at $2,140. I have a sneaking suspicion that they simply upped the denomination to $.25 and transferred the money from the $.10 royal (which was at $1,000+ two weeks earlier). Or it could be that it's a 10-coin machine, but that's unlikely. With .28% cashback, plus pretty generous discretionary comps and mailed free-play coupons, this seems like a pretty good option.

Spirit Mountain is about 40 minutes west of Salem, Ore., or 85 minutes southwest of Portland.

Thanks you for updating this. I was at Spirit Mountain yesterday, and failed to notice the updates. I was playing the 9/6 DDB back in the Peak. I'll have to check out the 9/6 JOB, since they removed the one and only left a few months ago.

I did notice on my last 2 mailers, that instead of *cash* EVERY WEEK, I am now getting "Coyote Bucks" (free play) EVERY TWO WEEKS, so they have downgraded that on us.

Yeah, I noticed that change to biweekly free play, but it doesn't affect me that much because I drive from four hours away, which means I only get down there once a month at best anyway.
