One lousy $15 coupon from GT

A few months back I got four $35 coupons (one per week) from
Greektown Casino to get me to "Come on down!" Then a couple of $25s.
Then a couple of $20S. And now one lousy $15 coupon to splurge with
when I risk my hard-earned money in their place.

They also sent me a coupon for one free dessert at the Alley
Grill if I buy one of their overpriced meals. Of course I'm comped
for dinner at the place and dessert comes with it so I threw that
away.
I'm currently on a seven-in-a-row winning streak at GT and maybe
that has something to do with it although I'm not sure if they check
that close. Like all casinos, they omly want losers and try to
didscourage winners from gambling there, and you know what, I don't
blame them one bit.
I'll just have to deliberately go into a long losing streak so I
can start getting those good coupons again....RIGHT!

PS: They are also putting in a new system where you can now redeem
your points and other options right at the machine. Motor City and
MGM both have this system in place now so they are a little late
with it.

Thanks for replying guys. I was beginning to feel that I was
being singled out by Greektown because I've been beating them lately.

We all tend to look at our casino visits as being so personal
that we sometimes forget that we are just one of the great unwashed
multitudes who play there and really don't get treated any different
than anyone else.
When you become "one with the machine," it seems like it's the
only thing that matters in the universe at that moment and you know
what...you are right. Gambling, especially video poker, is the
ultimate in solitude and time can stand still for hours at a time
when you're playing.

Thanks to my current winning streak, I now have a nice bankroll
built up to take a shot at the dollar progressive at the upstairs
bar when ever it gets over $4700. (which makes Bonus Poker positive,
which is the game I usually play) I've hit a lot of royals over the
years from Detroit to Vegas, but so far have not hit one at the
Greektown bar. When I do, I'll buy a drink for anyone sitting there
with me.
