VPFree regulations allow for my trip reports at times. My most recent is an example of high-variance/per-session as discussed above. I arrived at Flamingo-Laughlin at 1am last Fri. & played dollar 8/6/4 DDB at the Rainbow bar. No slot card because I forgot it, and club is closed overnight. Bankroll taken: $8500. My 2nd hand dealt four Aces, no kicker, and the draw gave no kicker. Up $795. Switched to 50c TDB+, 3rd hand, held one Ace, drew 3 more. Now up $1385. My goal (I NEVER play without win/loss goals) was +$1000). I got in the car and was home by 6am after a stop for a short nap. Verdict? High variance, very low EV, and a win. I don't care for those poor paytables, but I like that bar. And this is how you play short-sessions to perfection.
