P.S. from Hedy ... we booked this 12-day trip awhile ago to get out of the
cold weather in New York ... go figure ... it was 72 degrees in New York this
weekend and Tom and I have been bundled up with winter jackets and gloves in
'Vegas." next time, we probably should check the weather way before we hit
the road...

And PPS from Karen in NYC today. It's cold and crisp and beautiful. Much
nicer (IMO) than the too-warm weather I was met with when I arrived on
Saturday. Here for two weeks including hand surgery (arthritis) and with hopes that
I'll be in much better shape when I get home again on the 20th.
