Hi Gang:
Hedy and I are completing our five-night stay at Caesars Palace today and heading for Bellagio tomorrow. We'll be there for three nights then head over to South Point for four nights. Remarkably, without the benefit of a royal, we find ourselves $1,200 ahead as we head into Leg Two of our journey. Our biggest hit was aces for $800 (Hedy got them today on $1 9/6/5 DB) and we had a number of $2 quads on JOB. I aslo contributed quad deuces, treys and fours today for $400 each on DB. We also went over to the Orleans to see a movie (We Are Marshall, which we loved) and Hedy hit quarter deuces there.
We've kept very busy during our five days in Vegas, doing a lot of outside-the-casino stuff. We both played in a video poker tourney at Hilton last Friday and Saturday and wound up cashing in for $50 each. We saw the Mac King Comedy Show at Harrah's the other day (excellent) and the Anthony Cools X-rated hypnotism show at Paris that night (raunchy, outrageous and hilarious). Tomorrow night we are going to Red Rock to see a group called Deja Vu, which features a friend of ours who is the female lead singer, then Wednesday we see "O" at Bellagio and Friday Rita Rudner at Harrah's.
I busted out early in two Hold 'Em tourneys, but I'll be playing in a couple of more before we leave.
We're having a lot of fun so far and hope that we can keep the good VP vibes going.

P.S. from Hedy ... we booked this 12-day trip awhile ago to get out of the cold weather in New York ... go figure ... it was 72 degrees in New York this weekend and Tom and I have been bundled up with winter jackets and gloves in 'Vegas." next time, we probably should check the weather way before we hit the road...
