On a slightly less satirical note...

couple machines and these were the expected values for the games
displayed. Curiously - the "Actual Return" number for some of the
games was HIGHER than the "Expected" value, in at least one case
by almost 1 percent. Some of these values were lower than the
"Expected" number ...

... I still wonder if these values were different than the
"Expected" values because of machine not being truly honest or if
player accuracy or inaccuracy resulted in skewed results.

If the machines weren't truly honest, all of the actual returns
would probably have been much less than the expected returns.

Over a long period of time (your report doesn't specify the time
period measured for the AR's), player errors should account for
most of the difference between ER and AR, but normal variance
could be important for shorter time periods.
