On a Royal Roll

Hi Gang:
The Royal Flush Express rolled into the station again this past weekend for
Hedy and me as I hit our sixth royal in seven weeks in AC on Saturday night.
This one came at Harrah's and it was my turn since Hedy had been doing her
"royal hogging thing" lately by getting our last three, including her exciting
DEALT ace-high straight flush in spades last week.
We came down on Saturday this time, intending on spending three nights,
which was supposed
to include another venture for me in the WSOP Circuit Event at Harrah's.
But, with our good fortune and another tidy profit safely tucked into our
pockets we cut short the trip and came home Sunday night.
When we arrived Saturday afternoon, we camped out on the bank of machines
where we usually play and tried our luck at 9/6 JOB and 9/6 DDB. Not much was
happening although Hedy did hit aces for $200 on a triple play machine nearby
when she took a short break to try something different.
I found quads hard to come by but I was getting an unusual amount of royal
scares dealt. Three times in about 45 minutes, I needed one card for a royal
while playing at the 50-cent level on JOB and DDB, but missed every time.
Feeling I was going nowhere, I switched to 8/5 DJ and hit five of a kind for
$250. That went back pretty quickly when I decided to try some 7/5 Double Double
Bonus Aces and Faces.
I know, I know. I can hear the groans out there right now. But, I figured,
what the heck, I'd have some fun. About 10 minutes in, I hit four queens for
$200. About 15 minutes later, I was dealt jacks for another $200. Then, I was
dealt yet another four-card royal scare. From left to right it was K-A-10-Q
of diamonds, with the jack of diamonds needed in the middle spot.
I called over to Hedy, announced that I needed the jack, pointed to the
screen and hit the draw button. And, I'll be danged if the jack of diamonds
didn't jump right into the open spot!!
It was our third $2,000 royal in the last three weeks, our sixth since Oct.
31 and our 28th of the year.
Our win also put us a few hundred dollars down for 2008 (with cashback) and
continues a wonderful comeback year for us after a disastrous 2007.
Hedy and I would also like to take this opportunity to wish everyone a very
happy holiday season, and a healthy and prosperous new year ... filled with
plenty of jackpots!
Regards,
CoachVee and Hedy

Good show Governor.

On average do you happen to know at what rate per hands have you hit a RF this year between you and Hedy this year.
