Ominous trend for tier score at Mohegan

Today I played for 8 hours on 25 cent Bonus Poker at Mohegan Sun, $1.25 per hand. I expected to have around 45 points towards tier score. Only made 19 points in 8 hours. I am constantly checking to make sure my card is inserted correctly, so I can be certain it registered all the points. Please confirm, major point downgrade for VP at Quarter level.

I would expect some "Double" or "Triple" point days in near future if this is accurate.

Let me know if I'm mistaken, I really hope I am!!! if its true, goodbye Sagamore Card....

Thanks, Carol

Just back Friday from a 2 1/2 day trip and got the expected amount of points
machines coin-in rate, though.

Based on your reported play, 8 hours x $1.25 x 600 hph (est. average) / 150 = 40
points should have been your expected amount. You might try calling your host to
check on your play, telling him/her that there seemed to be a discrepancy in
points earned.

Maybe there was some problem with your card - for some reason, my wife's cards
just stopped working when we were there & she had to use new cards.

I concur comp rate at the Sun on Quarter and Dollar VP machines have not changed. For peace of mind before starting to play in earnest, write down your current point count, play 12 hands through at $1.25 per hand ($15 total), pull your card, put it back in and check your new point level. You should earn $0.10 of comp points on $15 of play if the comp rate is still $150 per point.

I too am hoping for double points days before I start earning points for the Oct 2010 - Mar 2011 tier level period. Sun Double pts days on VP is 1.33% which compares favorably with Foxwoods triple point days at 1.30%. Sun is better however on tier points, because the DBL pts count toward the next tier at the Sun, while at Foxwoods they do not (tier pts (called Qualified pts) always count at the single point level).

Foxwoods is having a triple points promotion tonight, Sunday Oct 17, from 6 PM to midnight. On the slots, the Foxwoods comp rate is 0.87%, which will be tripled to 2.6%. They have two banks of slot machines in the Great Cedar High Limit room along the two side walls marked as 98% payback. At triple pts and playing max coin of $2 a pull, these slots are above 100%.

Thanks everyone, for your help and for your response!

Carol
