OMG a W2G!!

On the way out of the Rampart each night I put between 10 and 50 dollars
into the bank of $1 DDB depending on the progressive jackpot. I've had quads
including deuces but tonight, I kept an ace and drew the other aces and a 4.
Just about fainted and they gave me $2109 and a W2G and I gave them $25.
Pretty fair exchange in my mind.

Hi! I hate to seem clueless (and I have no expereince with a "big"
winner nor a W2G), but why did you have to give them $25 when you
had such a "winner"?

Congratulations !!!

my wife was playing DDB last Oct. and had AAAA4 dealt to her.
It took her about 3 minutes to keep checking to see if all the cards
were held before I convinced her to hit the deal/draw button and get
our money.

That is alwasy a nice situation.

Congratulations! That's an interesting game. We usually go to the
Rampart on Wednesday's 2 for 1 buffet for seniors, and I check it
too. I think it has 5 progressive jackpots, including SF. So its
possible for the return to be positive even when the RF progressive
is not very high.

At the Ameristar the other night, I was way up (way up
for me, anyway) after playing 100-play penny 9/6 JOB
for about an hour. On the way toward the exit, I
passed a bank of quarter Triple Double Bonus machines.
One of them called my name. What the heck. I put a
c-note in and on the THIRD HAND it dealt me four 3's
w/2. Another $498.25 for the 'ol bankroll.

I checked it today. Actually it has 6 progressives, not including
the SF (the RF and 5 Quad hands). All the progressive amounts were
low, close to reset.

One nice thing about 6 progressives is the return can go positive
without significantly increasing the variance (compared to a single
RF progressive). Plus, most people don't know how to determine the
return, so even when it is positive I'm pretty sure many people don't
realize it (IMO).
