I'm a big skating fan and a pretty good handicapper when it comes to
this sport. I placed a decent sized bet on Arakawa to win the Gold
Medal at odds of 25 to 1.
FYI, although it only comes once every 4 years, figure skating is a
good opportunity to make some money if you're willing to bet on
darkhorses that aren't covered constantly in the media.
Anyway, keeping my fingers crossed for a big payoff.

Great call!!! I tried using my overseas book, they had a lot of
Olympic games but didn't have skating. I don't know how anyone can
handicap figure skating, but you sure know what you're doing!!!
I used pinnaclesports.com (the biggest sportsbook). As far as
handicapping, I knew that Arakawa's spiral sequence, spins, and one of
her footwork sequences were all pre-graded level fours under the new
system. Also, according to Scott Hamilton, She was doing a triple
lutz-triple toe in practices like a robot, and was even doing a triple
toe-triple-toe-triple loop. Although she didn't resort to any triple-
triples after Cohen messed up, she held on.

I don't know that many people who are into both VP and figure skating.
Where do you play VP? I play mostly at Harrah's AC & Showboat AC.
However, I'm heading to Caesar's Palace next week.

I'm not really into either one. Occationally play
video poker, but usually play blackjack and craps. I
like this forum because it has more information about
Vegas than just VP. I hate figure skating, but
sometimes my wife makes me watch it with her. I liked
the 25-1 odds, and was amased that someone could have
an accurate pick on that skating. If the odds are
right, I'll be on any sport.
