You could discuss it here if you can find anyone who knows anything about
it. I'm kind of curious about whether they have "real" vp in the new
racinos myself.

I have been to the Remington Park casino in OKC twice. The casino
representative assured me that the VP was random rather than bingo-
based, as the slots are. The paytables are horrific at the quarter
level; slightly better at the dollar level(Colorado Dueces, 7/5
Bonus Poker etc). Where else is VP offered in Oklahoma? The VP at
Winstar is bingo-based.

Real Video Poker is offered at Cherokee in Catoosa (close to Tulsa). I
haven't found any other real VP. Basically, if a casino is part of
the "compacted games" tribes, they have the ability to run real VP.
Several, like Creek Nation, could have VP but don't. Of course, they
are always behind on everything. They have probably one of the top 3
locations in all of Oklahoma but still bring up the rear in gaming and
facility advancement. It is almost laughable how much money they are
throwing away in that South Tulsa market. Someone over there needs to
be fired.

Yes, Remington is what I was curious about. I'll be in OKC this summer
again. My only other OKC "casino" experiences were a room in a truck stop
and what appeared to be several doublewides bolted together. Felt like I
was in an episode of Twin Peaks. 7/5 BP is not something I would normally
be interested in, but weighted against time spent with the inlaws I see
short pay video poker and ponies in my future. Thanks for the information.
