Oklahoma casinos

Has anybody played at either Winstar or Choctaw? If so, do you think the video poker is random draw or programmed to a bingo card like the slots are?

I am not familiar with these casinos however if the slots are Class II gaming then the video poker should be Class II gaming.

I would ask either at the casino or if you want to be anonymous, call and ask the casino manager if they are Class II or Class III gaming.

You want to avoid using the word "random" because Class II gaming could be considered random depending upon your perspective.

Thanks Kelso, good idea. The last time I was in Shreveport, they had gutted the El Dorado triple plays. Only thing I could find playable were the single lines. Choctaw and Winstar have good paytables in progressive single line. So I have been trying them out.

Winstar has both Class II and Class III gaming. I've never seen a bingo
card on any of the VP machines, but on the IGT machines the animation on the
draw is kind of odd-seems like it's jerky, and there's a minute delay in
revealing the draw cards, which I've never noticed happening on the original
five card deal. I've never seen that hesitation in any purely Class III
jurisdiction either. However, they have a fair selection of Bally games,
including Pick 'em Poker, and based on the speed and behavior of those
games, I believe they are Class III. They are located in the Rome gaming
plaza, in the bar area next to the promotions stage, not up at the bar
itself (those are IGT) but bar-top machines that are facing outwards into
the casino.

Thanks for the help Kathy. Bill Coleman on the main forum, said the same thing about Class II machines being mixed in with Class III. He said always check the "help screen". If there is no way to over ride the final outcome then they are good machines. Beware of any machine that state "cards are displayed for entertainment purposes only" etc. in the help screen. I have never checked the machines at Winstar. The ones at Choctaw Durant seem legit. I've checked those.
