We are starting to think about our annual trip to Norman. We will visit Riverwinds, Cherokee in Tulsa, and maybe check out Thunderbird. If anyone has a decent casino to recommend between St Louis and Norman, I'd appreciate the information.
My real reason for posting: Has anyone seen any of those 7 hand video blackjack games in Oklahoma casinos recently? They were at Riverwinds and Cherokee last summer. I know the basic game is really short play, but you can play nickels and have a very interesting time trying to figure out the best strategy. This seems like a great alternative to short pay video poker. If they are still around, I'm going to have to get busy working on my blackjack game.
Oklahoma Casinos
Kickapoo Casino in McCloud has a new building, a good players club, but terrible VP. Firelake, which is right on I-40, has decent VP. The two casinos are only about 6 miles apart. I go out to Kickapoo almost exclusively now for the decent slot play and best Players club in the area.

On the other hand, I personally would not waste any time in Riverwind (called Neverwin here by the locals). I have heard a few good things about Thunderbird attempting to compete with Riverwind by offering better machine odds, but I have not been out there personally.
