I had everything to do with those 25c/50c/$1 FPDW, etc. machines
Ah, excellent, then you clearly have an "in" with Wynn executives. Since the previous FPDW experiment was successful for them, hopefully they'll be amenable to trying additional methods to increase their profits.
So even though they were very good moneymakers but with the
expected lower margin (I saw the reports) the games and/or pay tables
were lowered/removed.
Therein lies the beauty of my proposal -- their margins will go UP, not down!
Summarizing my proposal again: on Wynn's bank of $10/$25/$100 slant-tops that include 9/6 JOB, suggest changing one machine to REDUCE 9/6 JOB to 8/5 JOB, and another to add FPDW. In other words, change a pair of machines at the same time.
This will obviously provide increased margin to the casino: the 8/5 JOB is +2.2% to the house (relative to 9/6 JOB), while the FPDW is only -1.2% to the house (relative to 9/6 JOB), so in aggregate the casino's profit margin across that bank of games will INCREASE, since the FPDW won't get played much (per your statement). This should of course be appealing to the Slot Manager, who can easily earn extra money for his casino while even claiming to have improved the video poker offerings!
While my initial suggestion only touched two machines (for trial purposes), of course they can apply this strategy to as many pairs of machines as they like, in whatever denominations they like, once they're satisfied with the increased profit.
Since you have good relations with Wynn execs, please feel free to represent this proposal as your own, I don't mind. Thanks for your support!
