Rob, I believe in the past you've indicated that you have contacts at Wynn. I think you may have even implied having something to do with the brief appearance of the (in)famous 4 FPDW machines on their floor, so clearly Wynn has some willingness to try things out (obviously with a goal of making more money for the house). So why not make this proposal to Wynn's slot management:
Per vpFREE's database, Wynn's high limit area has (6) $10/$25/$100 slant-top machines that include 9/6 JOB. What if they try changing two of these machines: on one, reduce the 9/6 JOB offering to 8/5. On the other, offer FPDW. This change should give the casino an improved average hold/game: from the casino's POV, the FPDW holds 1.22% less than 9/6 JOB, but the 8/5 JOB holds about 2.2% more than 9/6 JOB, so in aggregate, the casino earns extra profit in the long run. The casino would probably also gain some free, positive publicity from video poker writers, trumpeting the generous payout schedule.
It'd be an interesting experiment, don'tcha think? And clearly profitable for the casino.
