OK Casinos

I have read that many VP games in OK are now class III. I do not recall where. I do know that Winstar has many IGT and Bally games, and have never seen the bingo card on machines from these manufacturers.

Oklahoma does have Class III gaming machines. Many casinos also still have Class II machines. These bingo based machines have an electronic video bingo card on the front of the machine and you can usually choose different cards while playing to get into different bingo games.

Profits from class III machines generally have to be shared with state or local government, hence the tribes were slow to roll them out.

.25 8/5 JOB and $1 8/6 JOB are usually the best paytable you can find, these paytables are comparable to the Kansas and Missouri casinos. There are Class II and Class III video poker machines. Gameking multiplay games are the most common in my experince.

Craps and Roulette are card based if offered. I was told the reason for the ante is that these games are self financed ( in other words, your losses at the table go into a pool to pay for your wins at the table ) and the ante is where the indians make their profit.

So please do come to Oklahoma, we need the revenue !

Like I said, my feeble memory had OK in the list of states that signed a compact, giving at least some Class III games. IGT does market Class II games under their own brand, I can't recall if Bally does.

In a few states Class II machines are not required to show the Bingo card, I've seen these at trade shows. The sure way to check is to read the help and look for a genie, match number or other way to change the result. If such a thing is there, it is a Class II machine and does not deal from a 52 card deck with every card having an equal chance to appear but is more like a slot machine where the result is determined at the time you start the game and selecting cards to hold is for entertainment only.
