I played at WYNN about a month ago and gave them a significant play.
I have yet to receive any offers. I'm curious if any out of town
players get mail from them. If you have gotten offers how long did it
take to get them from your initial play.
Offers from WYNN if you live out of state

I can't speak for Wynn, but I'm surprised to still be receiving room
offers from Venetian -- I last gave them about 3 hrs of $1 9/6 Jacks
play on the first morning of a 2 night comped stay around 4 years ago.
(That comp was generated by a afternoon stop in with similar coin-in.)
The 3 night offer is restricted to midweek (only 2 nights available
some weeks) and extends through mid-September. Includes $50 Free Play
and a few other assorted gimmes.
Looks to me like it's still worth one's while to pop in the door for a
few hours and see what comes in the mail.

I get mail from Wynn a couple times a year with not very tempting
seasonal offers, and have never gotten any kind of email promotion. We
probably spent more nights at Wynn in 2006 than Steve Wynn did, spent
plenty of money on rooms and restaurants, and played a fair amount of
video poker.
I blame the fact that I knew where the full pay machines lived and
possibly that I was relatively successful on them for their lack of
interest in my business.

REPLY: Ditto. I live out-of-state. I played one night for 4 hours on
the machines that then offerewd $10-7 DB. I got lucky on quads and won
about $800. Excluding the initial two free buffets, the only offers
I've received have been room rates that I could get just by playing
live poker.
Just in case this is being monitored by someone at Wynn: If you'd offer
me free nights, I'd play negative EV machines to get on your "good"
list. But I'm not going to pay $120 night AND play negative EV
machines in the HOPE that doing so MIGHT generate free-room offers in
the future.

November of last year I put $110k through in one day to see what kind
of offers might come my way. Since that time I received one offer for
a free entry into a slot tournament that included a room at a reduced
rate for 2 nights and $100 free play. The offer came just two weeks
before the tournament. Being from Wisconsin, I rarely plan a trip to
Vegas on such short notice as the airfare would be very high. IMO, it
was a waste of postage on their part. Their offers to out-of-state
players appear to be infrequent and underwhelming.
