A few days ago I asked if anyone ever plays nsu deuces over full pay
deuces if both versions are available in the same casino. I received
some good information as to in which situations one might play nsud
over fpdw.
However, another part of my question was if anyone ever picks nsud
even if a similar denominatin version of fpdw is in the same casino.
Does anyone ever pick the nsud version over fpdw in a situation where
both versions are available in single line $.25 or $1 and the cashback
and comps are equal for both versions?
I understand the EV is 1 per cent lower for NSUD vs FPDW. Would
this be about the same as picking a 9/5 JoB over a 9/6 JoB in the same
casino? I understand that a knowledgeable player would not knowingly
do that! I also understand the EV is closer to 100% in nsud than in
9/5 JoB, but the 2 JoB versions are also about 1 per cent apart in EV.
Maybe nobody responded to this part of the question because the
answer is an obvious --- NO, do not pick NSUD if a FPDW game at the
same denomination is across the room! I believe the strategy in both
versions of the above mentioned pay tables of JoB are identical, but
the NSUD game strategy has a number of play variations from FPDW.
Hey, just tell me I would be a disadvantage player if I made the
choice of NSUD over FPDW and that such a choice is never knowingly or
wisely made! I know I have the choice, but I would like to know if
it not the best option and that I should get over to a FPDW game while
it still exist!
Thanks,
Bob
