NSUD changes one more time

I had posted my own chart of changes from FPDW to NSUD back in May and had a couple of other related posts since then. I had left off one confusing hand and could have sworn that I had made a post about this particular hand in a subsequent message, but in checking in my sent box, I don't see it. Maybe I dreamt that I did it. Anyway, since my wife's sheet had gotten a little tattered, I decided to make her a reprint and that is when I was reminded about this hand. This is a one deuce hand and here is the way I have it listed on my sheet:

3 STFL > 3 cd A Hi W.R. IF SUITED CONNECTORS ARE 67 OR HIGHER, W 34,45, OR 56 HOLD THE 3 cd A Hi W.R.

As you can see, one of my talents is not verbal simplicity. Is there an easier and clearer way to state this? I realize that some will not consider this to be a major error, however, depending on which cards and which way it is being misplayed, the error rate will range from two to ten cents, and those that play the game quite frequently may be concerned with increased accuracy. But, there must be a better way to state this that I am not seeing. Any ideas?

Iggy, of course you are correct. I was reluctant to use this succinct
statement as it has been my experience that some novice players have
difficulty grasping the concept of gaps. For many players it seems
especially exacerbating in wild card games, such as deuces, when an existing
rank like the deuce low on the scale, is also a wild card.

I've come to realize that I didn't manage to think in terms of gaps
easily because of those end cases, and that in order to reach gaps I
would invariably go first through a stage of "possible straights". I
don't have any problem with the concept, I guess I just don't like the
choice of the term "gap".

I then decided to re-write my strategies (for JoB and PKM) in terms of
possible straights instead, and I personally find them more readable
that way. Obviously it's a matter of personal preference.

Cheers,
JBQ
