NSUD .25 triple play weekend update

Since that is more than 1/2 a royal better than average and only very slightly short on deuces either your wild royal and quint results were horrible or you play poorly since normal other luck would be about a $500 win (Hint: I know better than that!!).

This weekend results.

10 hours. 21,000 hands (7,000 deals)
1 Royal, 4 sets of deuces
FINAL WIN $10 (yep. ten dollars, that is it.)
Roller coaster ride.
Was down as much as $600 and up about the same amount.

The WRF in NSUD contributes more to the overall EV than the quad deuces. If
you only had 2/3 of the WRF's that you should have had, this would account
for your break even state, despite being over royaled. The other factor is
strategy adjustments to catch the royal - if you don't hit the
royal/multiple royals it can get costly.

Howard. What does a wild Royal look like? ha ha.

Actually the Royal came first (to the wife of course.... I haven't had a
Royal since June 10th) At that point we were up about $600. Howver then we
started on the downward trail. Each time we would get a set of deuces it
would move us back up about even. Finally at the end when we were starting
to get tired and so decided to quit we were in low points....

Amen. I have found it very interesting during our recent play on this
machine to see exactly how difficult successful VP play must be for people
who do it full time. Without additional incentives this NSUD game is a
loser being 99.73% so actually a break even is really not surprising. But
it is amazing how the little hands are REALLY the key. When you have zero
hand after zero hand you start ot appreciate the value of the straights!
Anyone can win with the big hands but to pound out a longer term win is much
tougher. The truth of the math really starts to show itself the longer you
play. I am guessing that we have played about $400,000 coin in on this one
machine. Certainly not the "long run" but at least a decent run to give an
indication..... (And it has demonstrated to me that in the very long run
things will move closer to the EV of the game, but during any session
anything can happen.) During our play on this machine we are down over
$2,500. I think we are getting about 99.1% on our play thus far vs 99.73%
ER. But I do not think that is really too bad considering only playing
about $400,000 coin in. We have had 7 Royals so far on this machine. But 4
have been in the last two weeks. (A dealt one constituted three of them.)
Actually for the last two weeks we actually made a $2,400 come back.

In a sense we are about 3 Royals behind on the machine. Interstingly
enough, if we had these 3 Royals we would be about .125% ahead. In a sense
I think a likely range for this amount of coin in would be about 97.73% to
101.73%. So I am guessing that we are about in the middle. (Can someone
verify this range for me? Howard? Tomski? Others?)

ANSWER

standard .25 triple play ($3.75) NSUD (16/10/4/4/3/2/1 deuces)

Are you playing a dollar machine or a quarter machine. I.e., was the
$400K that you played done in ... 80K x $5.00 bets ... or 320K x $1.25

bets?

···

Also, what is the exact paytable for that game.

Cheers.
