One summer, way back when my husband and I were card counters, we stopped at
that casino out by the dam after some sightseeing. He went to the bathroom
and I sat at a table so I could order a drink asap. I was playing the minimum
$5, waiting for our Cokes and watched the count climb and climb. I got a
bloody nose (from the 115 degree dry desert air) and there were no tissues in my
purse. I could not leave because I would not be able to hand over the count to
my husband when he returned. I waved over the pitboss, indicating the tissue
box on her counter. She asked me if I was all right and after I assured her
I was, she said, "Just don't pass out. I hate it when customers do that."
