During my recent trip to Vegas I drove down to Laughlin as I usually
do and stayed at the Edgewater.
The (12) .25 FPDW in multigames below Kokopelli's showroom (which was
closed due to renovations) are intact. But they are old and showing
it. I couldn't find the (2) nickel FPDW in that area, but I didn't
check the rest of the casino, as .25 FPDW is my favorite game.
The (3) triple play MG machines at the short south end of the River's
Edge Bar don't have 9/6 JOB or NSUD anymore. The 5 coin paytable for
JOB is progr./250/130/40/30/20/15/10/5 and for deuces wild it is
progr./200/125/75/45/20/20/15/10/5. The DDB looks like regular 9/6 DDB
to me, but I'm not really familiar with DDB. The other games on these
machines are alien to me.
The discretionary comp policy has changed. Last year I got
discretionary rooms comped on $3k coin in per night. This year I gave
them over $4.3k coin in per night. I got my rooms comped, but I think,
it was only because the executive host I was talking to, ran out of
time. Upon request she acknowledged, that the comp policy has
significantly changed. Sadly she wasn't free to disclose the new
policy. Is this already the nrw owner's policy or ...
