CB- played some Deuces at $6/point. That zone sure gets noisy in a hurry. Still no Pints. My Sept/October mailer got an upgrade from the BOGO's I have been offered since January. July's play was only $1,200 Deuces/$300 Bonus, but I only did $2k coin-in total in the first half of 2010.
EW- they changed a few games around. One of the two banks (2x4) slant-tops got upgraded from nickel,dime,quarter to .50,$1,$2 and they changed them from Bonus to Bonus ACE$ 8/5 (99.4%). This is over by the O'Aces bar. They moved 8 uprights over there too that used to be across from the sportsbook that have the lower denom Bonus.
GNL- this promo they are doing is pretty strong with Wed/Sat drawings that get you a ticket into the BBF for the car. They diluted the ways to earn a ticket, park in the valet or spend $5 on food gets you a chance along with 20 points (not trivial) or a $10 BJ.
PIO- my $5k coin-in July did not get me any Free-play. I guess that July promo was too strong. $2k/trip has earned some Free-play before. They re-arranged the floor a bit, but same inventory. The 8 coin $1 9/6 Jacks was ripe on Sunday in Sassy Sues at 100.9% (Winpoker). It is a unique three-way progressive with meters on the royal, SF and any quad. They get alot of short coin action, since playing 1 coin still gets you comped at the bar.
There was an invite only event going on Saturday in the Pioneer. They invited 125 preferred players to do a Man vs Machine tourney. You played a VP round and a slot round, which is biased for the slot machines. They split up about $10k, everyone won $25 freeplay and got $40 in extra food. I didn't get invited, but Joyce (EW bartemder) did.
