For a diversion from all the Texas Hold 'Em on TV we get to watch some
blackjack tourney action this fall. Personally I only play BJ when there is an edge
for a drawing or something. I do dabble in BJ mini-tourneys, supposedily I
have a knowledgeble advantage, eh...

What is facinating is the organizers are trying to patent/copywrite the
format of the event. They have low man out hands and a secret bet you can use
until the last five hands. They did a preview of a show at the Palms movie house
a few weeks back, and folks were impressed with the production.
Anyway, I hope BJ tourneys take off like poker. You don't waste your life
playing them is an advantage. They really are skill based.
