Not The Host With The Most

Howdy

I know some have posted that they have no slot host for one reason or
another. For those of you that do or did my question is this....Has anyone ever
changed a host because of dissatisfaction?....if so 1) How is this accomplished
& 2) What was the results

The Grump...striving for a perfect world as I see it.

hi grump,

have read some of your notes on vpfree...to answer
your question i have changed hosts. when the borgata
opened i was assigned a hostess and she did nothing
for me..after several visits i went there and she was
off. i asked to speak to an available host and from
that point on have used him for all my needs. no
questions asked no comments made..she is still there,
and even says hello. these people know that we the
consumer make changes and its all part of the job..if
you are not satisfied you have a right to change and i
believe no one will care..when i go to vegas, most
times the host i had my last trip has moved onto
another casino...especially at the alladin and
paris.so if they can move why can't we?

I changed host at Bellagio because I was not happy with my host, (long story) my new host said it was no problem . I don't think this has had any effect on any of my offers.

I have changed hosts at both an MGM-Mirage and a Harrah's property. It
wasn't easy. In both instances, direct marketing sends your call back
to the host you don't want. Thus, it is best to approach a new host
that you pick, have him/her make your next reservation based on your
already rated play and then you're fine. From then on, the new host is
seen on your record as the host that booked your last trip.

Hosts move, and a former host I didn't want is now at Wynn. If I stay
there, I will certainly select someone else before she "grabs" me
again.
