Not a topic about a half million dollar jackpot

Sorry, not a topic about a big score. Just questions about the food at Gold Coast. Looks like steak place will be closed while we are there, so how are the other restuarants. Chinese seems exotic for my taste.
We had planned to walk to Palms for some VP, but looks like GC it is.
Any good game locations? OH, and how is buffet? Pool? Bowling?

I know these are pedestrian questions, but a lot of regular ploppies read this board.

The gold coast has an excellent vp selection - walk around you will find some nice ones. If your a nickel player, there are many progressives to choose from. For food I like the buffet ( better than the Palms buffet ) and the Ping Pang Chinese restaurant. Its really one of the better ones in town. The bowling is really good with special discounts for seniors.
best...Tom

My second job was as a bus boy in their coffee shop. The food was not good. Of course that was 24 years ago. I have eaten in their Chinese recently and loved it. However the new Cathy house at the palms across the street I think is better and better priced. I have not done a straight across comparison so this is just opinion.

The Gold Coast also has (1) Bar Pool Table in the Red Zone Bar and a TGIFriday's is their upscale coffee shop.

Have you tried dousing it in ketchup?

Do you think that would help the duck eggs?

Only if they are 'thousand year old' eggs.
Otherwise, go with the soy sauce.

I dinned again at Cathy house at the Palms and was really impressed. I would recommend the following dishes:

The Sweet & Sour soup
The Spicy Eggplant
The Salt & Pepper beef
The Chili scallops
The Salt & Pepper Sea Bass
and the Jellyfish appetizer (spicy)

If you go late, ask for Laura & tell her Frank sent you. She's an amazing server.
