Northern Alternative

Based on Howard's report, the new Rivers casino doesn't offer much for north side and north suburban VP players. So the wife and I headed for Milwaukee's Pottawatamie casino (80 miles north of the Rivers). We had not been there in years. We found the $1 NSUD and Jacks listed on VPFree2 and some $.50 Jacks not listed.(around the corner from the Buffet).

Also a lot of $5 BJ and craps (we went during the day), an OTB, a giant bingo hall, a sports bar, and a food court (with many cheeses in many shapes and forms). I think I also saw a steakhouse and maybe some kind of entertainment venue. Not bad at all (probably because we won).

Note: I finished my scouting of the Rivers this morning. I have added a few
machines to the listings and corrected/added info to the slot club. The
place was almost empty this morning unlike the zoo on opening day.
