Non-smoking Sections in Casinos - PRIVATE REPLY

Sorry all; this was meant to be private. Please disregard.

All I can say is "oops."

I really like your post -- thanks for saying what I was thinking! Don't you hate it when people refuse to say when they're wrong?

Lainie

Actually, MS originally stated that MOST casinos have non-smoking
areas. Later, MS said SEVERAL casinos have non-smoking areas.

But, for some reason, MS has not revealed the names of ANY casinos
which offer non-smoking areas!

Maybe, MS could enlighten us all with the NAMES of the casinos
that she goes to, which have non-smoking areas?

Maybe, not.

Nope....I don't think that most casinos have non-smoking areas.

I have found svereal around town you just need to ask personnel or
look for the signs. I guess it depends on the casinos you play in.
However, Casinos are private property, like your own home and they
are free to make their own rules. Again, I see both sides on this
issue.

Actually the casinos you listed are not ones I go to. They have
nothing worth playing (for me)except for the venetian(at the $1)
level.

Every once in awhile this subject re-appears on vpFREE. I usually
don't respond to smoking/non-smoking posts because I don't
believe that ANYTHING that any of might us post about their personal
views will cause even one person to change their opinion on the
matter. I promise that this is my last post on this thread.

However, in the interest of lightening things up a bit, I offer the
following bit of doggerol:

Those of you that like to puff,
Don't understand all this stuff,
about cigs, cigars, pipes and snuff,
that makes vp playing very tough.

Though we non-smokers are a large band,
It is necessary for us all to share this land.
So, even though the smoke is hard to stand,
We should at try to extend a friendly hand.

As for topic, I suggest that we leaf it alone, lest it give the
administrator a king-sized headache, and he/she deems it necessary
to filter out the thread before it becomes a pain in the butt!

I'm really sorry! Due to all the smoke I inhaled last week at the
Peppermill, my brain is slightly addled!

~Babe~

P.S. Be assured that I am not quitting my day job in favor of
applying for the position of poet-laureate of the US!
