Non-resident state tax in LA and Miss.

In Louisiana, you must file a non-resident Louisiana state income tax return. The amount that you get back is dependent on Louisiana income vs. total income. I have consistently gotten a refund for 75-80% of the Louisiana tax withheld. In certain circumstances, you may be able to get it all back.

Can a non-resident who hits a taxable jackpot in Louisiana or

What percentage of a jackpot do they keep for state tax purposes?
