non-locals offers from socal casinos?

i live in southern nevada, but i recently got an appealing-looking offer
for a slot tournament at harrahs rincon (based on my play at other caesars
properties), and so i'll be visiting there soon.

this will be the first time i've played in southern california, and based
on what people are saying on this list, it doesn't sound like i'm going to
be giving rincon any VP action... what other places should i check out
while i'm there?

i've looked through vpfree2, but i'm interested not only in good games, but
also in which places will send good offers to non-locals who put in
substantial play. vpfree2 doesn't say much about that.

thanks,

What games are you referring to? The JOB at the carasole that is always full - its like 6 machines... arent there any others? I could figure it out because the place seemed very busy the day I was there and I could not check out machines.

Yes, in Barona most of the lower-denomination (but high-payout) games are in the circular bank near the "coat check entrance." Eight or ten machines. Be patient, you can get on them. There are also higher-limit, high-payout machines in the high-limit area, and elsewhere.

See http://www.vpfree2.com/casino/barona for an exact description of the games, and their locations.
