Harrahs "Turn Base into Bonus" - I believe is multiplier day, where you get
extra bonus reward credits for every base. For example: you get 1000 base
plus regular 2000 bonus. If it is a 2X multiplier, they will add 2000 more
bonus on (1000 x 2) - so you end up with 1000 base plus 4000 bonus.

I do not think this answer is exactly right. "Turn Base into
Bonus" is an accurate description of what happens. It is a Multiplier
Day and if it is a 2X multiplier day they will multiply all base
points earned (as in your example of 1,000 into 2,000). Only this
extra 1,000 points will be called bonus points. At the end of the day
you will have $1,000 base and 3,000 bonus points for a total of 4,000
reward credits.
I think your answer could be interpreted that you now have 5,000
reward credits (1,000 and 4,000) and this would be incorrect. It
would take a 3X multiplier would to get 5,000 reward credits. Both
base and bonus credits earned on any one day are reward credits earned
for that day. The base credits earned remain as a measure of your
status for card level (4,000 base points in a calendar year for
Platinum and 10,000 for Diamond status).
